Teacher of Art and Photography

We are looking for a Teacher of Art & Photography to inspire creativity at Laurus Cheadle Hulme. In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Delivering exceptional teaching in Art, Craft, Design, and Photography across all key stages

- Developing students’ technical mastery of materials, processes, and creative expression

- Encouraging original thought and career exploration in the Creative Industries

- Leading extracurricular activities and industry-linked opportunities

You are a passionate educator dedicated to unlocking artistic potential. You have:

- A genuine enthusiasm for teaching Art & Photography (experienced teachers and NQTs welcome)

- Strong knowledge of art/photo techniques, materials, and creative workflows

- Commitment to fostering critical thinking and innovation in students

- Ability to connect classroom learning to real-world creative careers

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working toward certification

- Specialism in Art, Photography, or related creative discipline

- Willingness to engage students beyond classroom hours

- Understanding of contemporary creative career pathways
